Petals In The Snow
As the chill of winter weighs heavy on this burdened
heart ... I have succumbed to those moments when
your presence lingers with me ... when I'm able to
rest in the serenity of your whispers and the comfort
of your embrace; I surrendered my heart under the
breath of a summer sky so long ago ... and even
now when all that remains are crimson petals
cast upon a blanket of snow ...
it's still yours
Though you're gone I can never release sweet
memories that remain etched in my soul so
devotedly ... it's your breath I feel when I lie
in bed at night ... it's your warmth that delivers
me from night chills that would otherwise freeze
forever any thoughts of happiness; I cannot be
sad when I sense you near ... I am numb to
death's icy tendrils and brush them off like
unwanted snowflakes upon my heart ...
it's ever you I seek
My eternal love you have ... a devotion that
time nor distance can ever diminish ... immortal
sentiments that will draw me close to you should

I am so looking forward to November. I am taking a couple of days off for my b-day. I put in for the time last year. I'll get sleep then LOL! Hopefully I'll last till then. All I know is I'm gonna make heads roll if them kids don't start helping more. I shouldn't have to tell them things. Although tonight we did go grocery shopping. I ran so many errands that's all I did after I got up. And I still didn't get everything we needed for dinner. I don't like Bloom! It's small and expensive! Think I'm gonna stick with trusty old Giant Food.
I think Thursday I'm gonna take my clonopin and see if it helps me sleep any.
